REALTORS in the community
REALTORS, individually and as a group, are dedicated to the communities
they live and work in. From a spirited leadership role in creating
Edmontons Klondike Days, to focussing their fundraising efforts
on behalf of Edmontons School Lunch Program, REALTORS have
remained committed throughout the decades.
Because of its ongoing involvement and commitment to Edmontons
School Lunch Program through our Edmonton
REALTORS Charitable Foundation, the EREB became an enthusiastic
sponsor of Epcors Bright Nights Festival of Lights when the
opportunity arose in 1998.
Funds raised by Bright Nights go directly to Edmontons
School Lunch Program to provide balanced meals for children
who might otherwise go hungry throughout the day.
Bright Nights was created by the Edmonton Chamber of
Commerce as a fundraising event for the Endowment Fund for Children
in Need. Edmontons School Lunch Program is currently the
sole beneficiary of funds raised by the Festival.
Through their affiliation with the EREB, REALTORS also support
the Edmonton Historical Societys Historic Week activities,
as well as the Citys Community Smoke Alarm Program.
REALTORS in the City of St. Albert currently participate in the
Realty Watch Program, a community service project that takes
advantage of REALTORS presence in the community during the
day to report possible criminal activity.
At the same time, REALTORS are also dedicated individually and
corporately to meet the needs of their community. From coaching
childrens sports and delivering seniors meals, to organizing
a myriad of fundraising events for various charities, REALTORS in
the greater Edmonton area are committed to their role as good corporate
citizens.
