REALTOR (term and logo) - refers to real estate professionals
in Canada who are members of the Canadian Real Estate Association
and the National Association of REALTORS and, as such, subscribe
to a high standard of professional service and to a strict Code
of Ethics.
MLS®, Multiple Listing Service® (term and logo)
- are Certification Marks registered and owned by CREA for the
exclusive use of members in good standing in connection with services
defined as “listing to effect the purchase and sale of real
estate.”
MVA® Residential or Market Value Appraiser-Residential®
- qualified members of CREA may use this mark in association with
the provision of appraisals and opinions relating to residential
property and residential vacant lots for the purpose of establishing
the market value of property being bought or sold or to establish
value for mortgage and lending purposes.
Realty Watch™ (term and logo) - this trademark logo
is used to describe products and services associated with a program
to inform, instruct and train real estate boards, associations
and their members in the operation of a security and surveillance
system designed to detect, discourage and report criminal activity.
Realty Watch is a community service project that takes advantage
of REALTORS' presence in the community during the day to report
possible criminal activity.
