Commercial Education Summary

A goal of the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton is to provide, maintain and upgrade knowledge and professionalism within the industry.

The Commercial real estate course program provides the student with an overview of the broad scope and diversity of the Commercial real estate business. This Introductory Program is the foundation for continued and more advanced studies toward professional designations.

The program consists of six modules. All courses are approved for continuing education credits by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). Completion provides the existing members with full membership in the Association Commercial Division. Separate from the Introductory Program is a one-day six credit course, Tax Tips for Commercial REALTORS® and Property Managers.

The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton (Edmonton Real Estate Board), founded in 1927 , is a professional association of over 3,200 Brokers and Associates in the greater Edmonton area. The Association administers the Multiple Listing Service®, provides professional education to its members and enforces a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Practice.

The Association advertises property listings and publishes consumer information on the Internet at, as well as in the Real Estate Weekly.
The REALTORS® Association supports charities involving shelter and homelessness through the REALTORS® Community Foundation.
