Relationships are the foundation of sales. Sometimes the relationship
builds from a successful business transaction. Sometimes it takes time
and effort to build the relationship before the first transaction even
occurs. All your marketing efforts need to focus on understanding your
client and finding ways to meet their needs. The more you encounter
them, the better equipped you are to meet those needs.
The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton provides a number of events
where you can meet and interact with REALTORS®, employees and the
public who may need or want your product. By participating in Association
events, you are building your network of potential customers. We know
you’ll have better results in the long run if you work with REALTORS® before,
during and after the sales transaction and maintain the relationship.
The Association has a variety of types of events and opportunities
which fall into the following categories:
Sport and Social Events
- Everyone needs to let loose and what a great
time for you to be in front of our members and employees. Golf, curling
and baseball plus the Christmas Luncheon, REALTORS® Ball and Family
Picnic. These are the biggest member gatherings and are likely to create
positive memories of a sponsoring company.
Member Professional Development
- REALTORS® need to continually
upgrade their skills. Address Association members throughout the year
for a relatively low cost. These opportunities are best for companies
wanting to be referred to home buyers and sellers through a REALTOR®.
Meetings and Conferences
- Speak directly to REALTORS® when they
are in the mindset to make decisions. If you are looking to connect
with prominent REALTORS® who will remember your name, these opportunities
are for you.
- Members constantly refer to Association publications
for information. Be in front of them each time they do. A great opportunity
for anyone with a product or service a REALTOR® would use daily.
REALTORS® Community Foundation
- Sponsor an opportunity for the
Foundation and not only feel good because you helped a charity, but
also stand out to the community. REALTORS® and employees often
attend the events but the community sees the results. These opportunities
allow any company to participate and get your name in front of a large
group of people.
